Raila Odinga Bodyguard abduction in 2023
Ogeta was abducted on a Wednesday morning in July 2023 while he was on his way to work; he was reportedly shoved into a car trunk by unclothed guys who were thought to be police officials.
He remained detained for over three days. During that period, his whereabouts were unknown and his car found vandalised.

Eventually, he was released around 1 am, blindfolded and dropped in a rural location (Ruai towards Kangundo).
