How old is Echate? Born in August 10, 1991, Echate is 33 years old as of 2024. He grew up an orphan after losing both parents at age 14.

Education and career background

After working hard and successfully Moi University, Echate would later drop out for lacking school fees. He immediately became a Mandazi-chai hawker with the dream of continuing his education.

Luckily, he managed to join Kisii University for a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. While at the institution, he served in KUSA as the Secretary General.

On failing to clinge the Borabu parliamentary seat, Echate landed on the CEC role in the ministry of sports and youth affairs.

His affiliation to the ruling UDA party eventually saw him become the chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Commodities Fund, for three years effective February 10, 2023
