Hon Kimani Ichungwa was brought up at Gikambura Village within Karai Location, in Kiambu County. Growing up in a middle income home with mud-houses challenged Ichung’wa to dream bigger. All along, he worked towards building a cemented house for himself.
As a child, he wanted to become a lawyer cum businessman.
Childhood and education
Ichungwa attended Kikuyu Township Primary school before proceeding to Alliance High School wherehe woould serve as a senior prefect in charge of discipline.

Failing to join law school by two points caused Ichung’wa to seek an alternative career in business. At first, he completed CPA1 from the Kenya College of Accountancy. He later graduated with a bachelors degree in Accounting from Strathmore University.
