When Kanja appeared before Justice Chacha Mwita today morning at the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi in response to pleas to bring the three to court, he disclosed that none of the police stations had the three missing.

”Your honour, we have none of the subjects. I want to confirm before this court that we have none of them,” Kanja said.

Amin and Kanja had failed to show up for many court summonses for the three missing Mlolongo brothers who were kidnapped on various dates in December.
However, Kanja made his decision after implying that he was a law-abiding citizen and that he would show up in court to respond to the summons.

“When the time comes for me to appear in court I will appear. When I am ready I will appear before the courts,” Kanja told reporters during a press conference in Kwale County on January 23.

This came after their previous attempt to avoid the summons failed when Justice Mwita decided that the two police chiefs had been properly served with court appearance orders regarding three missing individuals who were allegedly kidnapped in Mlolongo.
