However, to get yourself a job as a BOM teacher, you must meet the minimum requirements set for all teachers.

A BOM teacher must meet the following;

1. Must be registered by the Teachers Service Commission

2. Must be a Kenyan citizen with Identity Card as a proof

3. Must have attained a minimum of C+ in the teaching subject in the KCSE exams

4. Must have a Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution of learning

5. Must be ready to work under minimum supervision
