His educational background

Due to the nature of Njugush father’s work, their family kept shifting. It is for this reason that he took his primary education in 6 different schools, including Kawangware Primary School. In 2005, he attended Naaro High School where he scored a C+ in KCSE. Later, he joined Kenya Institute of Mass Communication for a course in journalism. This is where he began his career as an event emcee.

His career

Njugush was first auditioned as an actor at Kenya National Theatre, three days after completing secondary school. Upon joining KIMC, he went on to become the host of a reggae show on ECN, a TV channel belonging to the institution. In 2013, Abel Mutua contacted him for a role in Hapa Kule News, a comedy program, which aired on NTV. He rose ranks to become the program’s creative director. Later, he featured on The Real Househelps of Kawangware as one of the main characters, but left after two years.

After leaving the show, he started a standup comedy dubbed Through Thick and Thin and Dereva Series, which he posted on his Youtube Channel. Currently, his content is available on his website, njugush.co.ke.

Njugush has left many women’s tongues waggling after his recent body transformation. To their disappointment, he is taken! Njugush walked down the aisle in 2016 with his longtime girlfriend, Celestine Ndinda “wakavinye”. Their love story began back at KIMC where they both schooled.

The two lovebirds wed on December 16th at PCEA Evergreen church in Runda, Nairobi. Njugush wedding attracted several media personalities such as Abel Mutua of Tahidi High, Phil the Director, Celina, and Catherine Kamau.
