The roots man George Luchiri Wajackoyah is 63 years as of 2022. Born in 1959 at St Mary’s Hospital in Jinja, Uganda, he celebrates his birthday on 24th October.
Wajackoyah family background and tribe
Wajackoyah father is Mr. Tito Olilo Jakoya and mother Melenia Makokha. Both parents are Kenyan by birth. Sources say the couple divorced when Jackoyah was a minor. He would find himself under the care of a Ugandan-based maternal grandfather. Moving from Indangalasia village in Busia to Uganda meant a tough life ahead.
At the age of 16 years, George strayed from Uganda to Nairobi City. Sadly, he ended up in the streets. He was eventually rescued by the Hare Krishna.

In between the odds, Wajackoyah completed primary schoo1. Luckily, he received a sponsorship at St. Peter Mumias Boys High School clearing in 1980.
He later enrolled at the Kenya Police Training College, Kiganjo base, for training in Policing and Criminal Investigation. In 1990, he relocated to the United Kingdom where he would earn several Law degrees. Some of the world-class institutions in his CV are the Universities of Wolverhampton, Warwick, London (SOAS), and Westminster & UOL Birkbeck.
On top of that, Wajackoyah is an expert in French, Economics, Philosophy, Security and Intelligence, and African Studies.
Wajackoyah career history
Upon graduating from Kiganjo, Wajackoyah became a recruit constable and later an inspectorate. In 1990, he was among the few chosen by the Police Service to unearth the truth behind the mysterious death of Robert Ouko. In the process of seeking evidence, he was tortured forcing him to flee the country for the UK. While in exile, he shifted his attention to law studies.
Two decades in the UK saw him become a trusted legal mind with an immigration specialist law firm. He finally became a professor of law at the American Heritage University of Southern California.
In 2010, Wajackoyah returned to Kenya and immediately launched Luchiri & Co. Advocates. He has since been working on the low-key until recently when he unleashed Roots Party in favour of Bhang legalization. As we speak, he is a law lecturer at USIU and the University of Nairobi.
