Miss Nganga from a humble background started schooling in a local primary. She recalls attending classes barefoot with minimal providence from her peasant farming parents.

Luckily, Lilian Nganga qualified into the Kiambu based Thogotho Girls High School.

Upon clearing her KCSE exams, Lilian Nganga enrolled at the University of Nairobi. While at UoN, she majored in front office, tourism and hospitality studies.

In addition, Lilian graduated from JKUAT with a Master of Science in Project Management. 

Lilian Nganga gradually landed her first job at the prestigious Safari Park Hotel. The opportunity lasted one year after which she moved to Kenya Airways for six years. Apart from her full-time job on the runway, Lilian tried her luck in modelling. She also launched a beauty parlour but gave up soon after.

All along beauty served as an ingredient of attaining her dreams. Before long, she opened a luxurious tour company that is still operational.

Charity work and philanthropy

Lilian Nganga with beautiful skin and heart is a charity oriented lady. She is mainly vocal in cancer awareness campaigns. For instance, she bagged a Cancer Champion Award from HELD Sisters Foundation in 2015/2016.

In 2017, Eddah’s Hope Cancer Foundation voted Lilian Cancer Ambassador of the Year.

Similarly, it is through her effort as the first lady that Machakos County welcomed its first cancer screening centre. Her Children’s welfare program is equally touching lives. At least 200 have benefited school fees, beds, and mattresses to name a few.

On top of that, the duly registered Ng’ang’a foundation has provided thousands of sanitary towels. In 2017 alone, the foundation issued 3,000 sanitary towels in a bid to improve menstrual health.
