Toto was today on August 11 announced as the new Women Representative Bomet County, thus making her the youngest elected Women Representative in Kenya. This shocked many Kenyans as she defeated her competitors who are more experienced and even wealthier.

The excited Chepkorir outdid her competitor Joyce Korir, who has been in office since 2017. Her other competitors were Beatrice Chepkorir, Cicilia Chepkoech, Eunice Cherono, Susan Koech, Brenda Chepng’etich, Stacy Chepkemoi, Eddah Chepkoech, Faith Chepkirui, and Joan Chekirui.
