The Cabinet Secretary Education Ezekiel Machogu has today on Monday January 16, 2023 talked about form one selection for the 2022 KCPE candidates. This comes three weeks after the release of the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary School Education (KCPE) exams.

2022 KCPE candidates, find schools they have been placed
CS Machogu stated that 2022 KCPE candidates have been placed in different secondary schools across the county, depending on the marks they scored.
He also stated that parents and guardians can now find schools in which their candidates have been placed via phones.
To know the secondary school a candidate has been placed, send the candidate’s index number to 22263. The SMS will cost Ksh. 25.
On the other hand, he added that one can also check on the Ministry of Education website for the form one selection details.
“Parents and guardians can now access joining information that is available online for all categories of schools through the Ministry of education website www.education.go.ke Parents can get info about schools candidates who have been placed by Texting the candidate index no 22263 or email to [email protected],” said CS Machogu on Monday, January 16, 2023.
