“I got bored of the routine of going to court every morning, taking pleas of drunken characters and traffick offenders. When  I was in South Nyanza the bulk of work I was doing were customary divorce cases.” Said Moses Wetangula.

In 1982, Wetangula represented the alleged coup plotters in the Court of Law. Answering a case against the supporters of Presidents Daniel Arap Moi at a fee of Ksh. 30,000 warmed his career to greater heights.
